How old are you turning this year?
Well, I am 21 years old. A lot of time living here on earth. My birthdays will always be celebrated at home but now my friends wants to celebrate my birthday at the beach. Well that's okay since it might refresh your mind and relax.
When I woke up my mom greeted me with a happy birthday and it made me smile. I prepare myself for school. Once I'm done my mom gave me 1000 pesos and I was so happy. I can buy things that I want. Upon arriving at school my classmates sang me a happy birthday song. And I gave them a smile and said thank you.
Later that noon we didn't have school and one of my friends told me that we should go to the beach and I happily agreed but I told her that I don't have that much food for them. Then she told me that that's okay.
When I arrived home I saw my boyfriend. I was not expecting that he would come since we had a fight last night. And I told him why you're here I didn't not invite you. He replied I invite myself. I just laughed at his face.
Then after that I told him that we should eat he replied that I already eaten because I'm hungry. Your mom also told me to eat so I did. And I replied okay. After eating I told my mom that me and my friends will go to the beach because they insist to. And she told me what is our food then I say anything that you have cooked I already told them that we don't have that much food.
After a while I prepare myself to go. Afterwards we decided to go to the beach. Which is in Inuboran fish port. It was a perfect sunny day and the high tide was perfect. The mangrove trees make the water cool. And the branches of it serve as a shade from the heat of the sun. My friends also brought some food then we merged it. We rent a table to put our things and foods. It cost 100 pesos for the whole day. And there is no entrance fee.
We started swimming and having fun while the boys were drinking beer. We are having fun at the coolness of the water. However we felt hungry so we decided to eat the food we brought. We are having a lot of fun. We also chit chat about our lives and experiences.
When I was young I always thanked God for another pass. Which I didn't do this year. But more importantly I pray. Not just on my birthday but everyday. Thanking God for everything he has given to me and being blessed. Every year celebrating a birthday is different. However, it is important that you are happy and content.
As a young adult now I often think of how to live life and how to embrace it. We may face a lot of circumstances and problems. We just have to think that everything has a solution and you are given that problem because you can find ways to solve it. Some people might give up because they think that they can't solve it. But in reality you can. They say we only live once. You must cherish it and enjoy difficulties that are already with you, just stay positive and be optimistic.
Anyways, it's already afternoon so we decided to go home. My friends told me to continue the celebration later that night. And I happily agreed since it's the first time that I celebrated my birthday with my friends. Upon arriving home my mom told me to cook the macaroni salad but I first bought the lacking ingredients at the market. So my boyfriend and I went to the market.
We also bought some grilled chicken for our dinner. We arrived home and some of my friends were there and I told them that I will cook first then afterwards we eat. Everything was going great. My friends
bring Bluetooth speaker with microphone for us to sing. We started singing,chatting and drinking.
It was such a great moment to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family.
