Prologue
As I predicted, Tofu has become a very useful card for me. Especially in Novice and Bronze League, but now that I have him at level 2, also in Silver. My favorite combination, one that I do use a lot, is with Kron the Undying. Since it's a wild card from the Untamed-Edition, not all of you might know it.
Kron The Undying
Kron is a legendary card of the Earth Splinter. 10 LP at the beginning, with Heal - so he regenerates 3 LP each round, before he attacks. 3 magic damage is quite the punch. 2 Speed is not amazing, but he's a great tank anyway.
Until including intermediate level, you might encounter this beast in combination with the Sacred Llama, so it gets Last Stand (5 damage, 3 speed, 15 health) right away, and even more health, plus cleanse - so Affliction won't affect it, and it can keep healing 5 LP per round. And that's for only 17 Mana.
But I don't have the Llama. I have Tofu. And Tofu also gives +2 LP. Additionally, it gives Thorns, Snare and Triage/Scavenger to one monster. Got the strategy yet?
With 12 LP starting, Kron will heal 4 LP each round with Tofu. Plus, with every monster dying, it will heal even more - both itself with heal, and another monster with Triage. Or twice itself, if it's the most damaged monster in the back line.
Example 1: Undying Tofu vs. Quora Kron
Bronze League Wild Tournament. Everyone is poisoned, so healing monsters are great, or Immune. Our strategies are kind of similar. While I go for Kron backed by two martyrs, my opponent goes for backing Quora with two martyrs, if which one affects Kron as well. Mine are more offensive, giving Grund and the Golem extra stats.
Thanks to snare, the speedy Peryton has a target on its wings. My Kron heals both himself and another back-line unit, which is great in Poison.
At the beginning of Round three, Quora is the only one left - but with quite a punch already, and bloodlust is not to be underestimated. But after both Martyrs dying, she stands against a Kron with 5 Magic Damage, 7 healing power, and Grund with 6 damage that becomes healed by Kron as well. No chance. Great match!
Example 2 - Replacing Llama
17 Mana battle, with earthquake. Not an easy one, especially as my opponent uses a monster that gives 6 damage - but melee. So Kron will give the thorns damage, and the snare the Nectar Queen for an extra earthquake damage. It's not an overwhelming win, but definitely a win.
Example 3 - Two Tofu, one Kron. Different Boosts
This is an awesome one! it seems like both of us expected Sneak-Monsters - which none of us had. So, the opponent gave Triage and Scavenger to the Djinn. I gave it to Kron, of course.
It took 5 rounds to get to see progress, that's when the Grumbardum died and Iziar was in first position, unable to get healed by triage, and being attacked by all of my monsters. As the Elanor was constantly exhausted, and the Jinx only attacked Sturgis, the Divine healer kept Almo alive, and Kron kept Sturgis alive, and step by step Iziar went down. It still went on until Round 10.
Conclusion
This is a fun combo, and very strong! Giving Kron Scavenger and Triage makes him quite sturdy, and especially in longer battles he will be very strong in the end.
The weakness is Affliction. If an enemy unit is able to place that one, Kron is weakened substantially - but still strong!
Great is the combination with Martyrs around him, as he not only gets the regular bonus, but also the Scavenger-LP-Bonus.

Wild Results since I got Tofu
Since buying Tofu, especially my Wild performance has improved a lot - as well due to this Combo. I usually ended up between ranks 40 and 90, and getting into the 30s was great, and 20s was exceptional. Now, the few extra wins that I take thanks to Tofu are bringing me into a whole different range - between 10 and 30 is now standard. These are wild tournaments that include Tofu and Kron.
