The puppies deserve to stand out in the photos, always... I have prepared a mix of black and white street shots in which most of it has a high contrast, I have been taking some random photos for a few days to share captures of different places and moments. This somehow attracts me more attention than doing an exclusive tour for street photography in a neighborhood is particular.
In this series you can find parts of the city from different neighborhoods and areas that see them, immediately made me click.
The entrance or exit of the subway station "Emilio Mitre", very close to the Chacabuco Park, it's not a very busy station for its location but it is located at a point where interesting shots can be achieved according to the angles you apply.
Below you can appreciate a small fragment of the platform of the Plaza Italia station of the subway line D. I have always felt a special attraction for those things that are very deteriorated how that wall. When I see something like this I imagine it in black and white and with a lot of contrast.
I don't know how this kind of stands are called in your country, here in Buenos Aires and in my country Venezuela we call them "Kioscos". There is something quite interesting here, the world is full of technology and now everything is virtual but seeing these stands today, I love it. It makes me remember my childhood and the times I used to go to one of them to buy cards for an album.
Here these "Kioscos" still sell magazines, DVD movies, Blueray and some even newspapers.
Whenever I can try to see the forms that are made through light and shadows, I think I have the subject of the lines very fixed in my head. I seek to take photos related to this, anywhere and any time. In this case I think there are many distracting elements but I get the attention of hard light and shadows in this area at that time.
Just a building but look what sky! This is right next to a viaduct and at the beginning of Cabildo Avenue in Palermo. I think it is a building dedicated to the academic training of military, something governmental.
We end with a photo bonus of my mate, I do not know who knows what it is but it is basically a container where the popular Argentine drink is taken: MATE 😂... Yerba with hot water. It's a skull and my friends told me that it seemed to be sucking the brain hahahaha
