不是即將到來的比特幣披薩日,其實是連鎖披薩店有活動優惠的日子,當初,那位花了一萬顆比特幣購買兩個大披薩的工程師,不但成就了歷史,也表達了人們對於披薩的熱愛,披薩的選擇超多樣的,人們可以選自己喜歡的口味和配料,無論你是喜歡重口味的辣味腸、還是喜歡清爽的瑪格麗塔,甚至連豬血糕及皮蛋,都有店家做成披薩。

我是開始工作之後,才真正有機會比較常吃披薩的。可能是因為披薩本來就是一種「適合分享」的食物吧,圓形的披薩被切成幾塊,拿起來就能吃,方便又不失儀式感。它不像便當或漢堡那樣是一人一份,而是可以跟朋友、同事或家人一起圍在桌邊,邊吃邊聊天,氣氛自然就熱絡起來了。

很多時候,公司辦活動或部門聚餐時,最常見的選擇就是幾個大披薩配上幾瓶可樂。這種組合不僅準備方便,也不用費心去算每個人要吃多少,反正披薩就是這麼隨興,吃不完也沒關係。剩下的披薩帶回家,隔天再用微波爐加熱,味道還是很好,甚至有時候還覺得比現烤的多了一種「隔夜美味」。

當披薩日的優惠一出現,我立刻把握機會,下班後特地繞去披薩店,外帶了一個大披薩回家和家人分享。平常我們晚餐就會一起吃飯,氣氛其實已經不錯,但偶爾來點不一樣的東西,像是披薩這種輕鬆、無需拘泥餐桌禮儀的食物,也讓家人感受到一種比較自在、歡樂的用餐方式。再加上這次價格真的划算到不行,不趁優惠的時候出手,怎麼對得起我「小資省錢達人」的稱號呢?

It wasn’t until I started working that I really had more chances to enjoy pizza. Maybe it’s because pizza is naturally a “sharing food”. It’s round, sliced into pieces, easy to grab, and feels just a little bit special. Unlike a bento box or a burger that’s made for one person, pizza is meant to be shared with friends, coworkers, or family. You gather around, eat, chat. It just naturally creates a warm, relaxed vibe.

At work, whenever there’s a team meeting or a little celebration, the go-to choice is always a few large pizzas and bottles of soda. It’s easy to prepare, no need to worry about portions, and no one minds if there’s leftover. In fact, I love taking the extras home. A quick microwave the next day and voilà—it still tastes amazing. Sometimes I even think it tastes better the next day!

So when I saw a pizza promo coming up, I didn’t hesitate. After work, I swung by the pizza shop and grabbed a big one to take home. We usually eat dinner together as a family anyway, but something about having pizza just changes the mood. It’s more casual, more fun. Plus, the deal was too good to pass up. I mean, if I didn’t take advantage of a Pizza Day discount, I’d totally be letting down my title as a budget-savvy foodie!
