Hello Splinter Fanatics

For some time now, rumors of a new collection called Conclave Arcane have been discussed behind the scenes of Splinterlands and throughout the community. However, what scares me is the coincidence of the pre-order for this collection being launched in the very week that Pope Francis died, and after his death we have the Conclave, which is a kind of ceremony to determine the new pope.

Things can happen by chance, but make no mistake, nothing is a coincidence, everything has to happen at the right time. The Conclave Arcane collection will go down in history - who knows, maybe we'll have a card in honor of Pope Francis? There are various limitations, such as copyright or religiosity on the part of some players. In Splinterlands, cards have already been renamed in respect for religious players.

Conspiracy theories say that Pope Francis was the last legistimate pope, meaning that he is the last pope of the Catholic Church. I won't go into the details of these theories, but I will connect the dots of this coincidence. Will the Conclave Arcane Collection be the last Splinterlands collection? Only time will tell. The current moment is one of great euphoria, which has seen the price of SPS rise by more than 100% in just one month and the price of DEC reach PEG. Currently, the SPS price is correcting, but there's nothing to stop it reaching even higher levels.

In the midst of all this euphoria over the Conclave Arcane collection and the appreciation of Splinterlands' assets. There are some players who are skeptical about the future of the game after the rotation of the Chaos Legions collection, as it is the basis of many players' collections, because it is more affordable to play in the Mordeno format.

Chaos Legions cards are cheaper, both to rent and to buy. Most of the cards I use in battle are Chaos Legions, but I've started adding Rebellion cards to my collection. Soulbond summoners are a good example of cards that will be sorely missed, as they allow you to scale cards to a Gladiator monster. Often, these cards go head-to-head with Rebellion cards, due to their superior stats compared to the amount of mana of conventional cards.

Today's post will illustrate this fact in an epic battle, where I chose a Soulbond summoner and my opponent chose the dreaded Eternal Tofu. The ability Conscript is very useful in battle. I would very much like it to remain in modern mode, so that players like me have access to gladiators.

The battle was 29 mana, and all Splinters were available except Fire and Water. The battle conditions (rulesets) added even more challenge and required careful strategy:

Weak Magic: Magic damage must first damage armor, and then the health of the monster hit.
Tis but Scratches: All monsters have the ability Cripple, which reduces the maximum health of the monster hit by (-1) for each damage received.
Equal Opportunity: The monsters attack the monsters with the lowest health first.

Under these conditions, I chose the Soulbond summoner from the Dragon Splinter, Helios Matriarch along with the Dragon Splinter, which gives the possibility of choosing a summoner from these Splinters. My Opponent chose the legendary summoner Eternal Tofu, multi-element (Earth and Life).

In the first round, my card with the least life was Vruz, which was quickly defeated. However, as this monster has the ability Martyr, this increases the stats of the adjacent cards, which are Quora Towershead and Halfling Refugee.

I strategically placed three cards with the ability Martyr and low life, to make them be defeated quickly and increase the powers of the adjacent cards. So, in addition to the cards already presented as the main ones in this battle, we have Doctor Blight which has been buffed.

In the third round, some monsters are no longer on the field. Only my side remains: Quora Towershead and Doctor Blight. The melee damage cards are damaged by the presence of the ability Thorns, our luck is that few cards were melee damage.

In the end, only one card remained on the enemy side, which was quickly defeated by Quora. It's at times like this that I think of how much the Chao Legion edition will be missed: without them, we won't be able to scale glsdiators in a battle against monsters and summoners that are absurd in power.

So, the Conclave collection is coming with everything, new cards, summoners and abilities are available making the whole game change. However, the Chaos Legion rotation will be a real blow for many Splinterlands players, because as shown, they make the difference in many battles. I hope you enjoyed it!

Olá Splinter Fanáticos

Há algum tempo que os rumores de uma nova coleção chamada Conclave Arcane estava sendo discutida nos bastidores de Splinterlands e por toda a comunidade. Porém, o que mim assusta é a coencidência da pré-venda dessa coleção ser lançada bem na semana que o Papa Francisco Faleceu, após sua morte temos o Conclave que é uma espécie de cerimômia, para definir o novo papa.

As coisas podem acontecer por acaso, mas não se engane nada é coencidência, pois tudo tem que acontece no momento certo. A coleção Conclave Arcane entrará para história, quem sabe não teremos alguma carta em homenagem ao Papa Francisco? Existem várias limitações: como direitos autorais ou religiosidade por parte de alguns jogadores. Em Splinterlands já aconteceu de mudarem o nome de cartas em respeito a jogadores reliogosos.

Teorias da conspiração dizem que o Papa Francisco foi o último papa legistimo, ou seja, ele é o último Papa da igreja católica. Não entrando em detalhes sobre essas teorias, mas ligando os pontos dessa coencidência. Será que a Coleção Conclave Arcane será a última coleção de Splinterlands? Isso só o tempo dirá, o momento atual é de muita euforia, que fez o preços do SPS valorizar mais de 100% apenas 1 mês e a cotação do DEC atingir o PEG. Atualmente, a cotação do SPS está corrigindo, mas nada impede que seu valor atinga patamares ainda maiores.

Em meio a toda essa euforia com a coleção Conclave Arcane e a valorização de ativos de Splinterlands. Existem alguns jogadores céticos com o futuro do jogo, após a rotação da coleção Chaos Legions, pois ela é a base da coleção de muitos jogadores, por ter preços mais acessíveis, para jogar no formato Mordeno.

As cartas Chaos Legions são mais baratas, tanto em alugueis quanto para compra. A maior parte das cartas que utilizo em batalha são Chaos Legions, mas já comecei a acrescentar cartas Rebellion na minha coleção. Os invocadores Soulbond são um bom exemplo de cartas que farão bastante falta, pois elas permitem escalar cartas um mosntro Gladiador, muitas das vezes essas cartas batem de frente com as cartas Rebellion, devido a suas estatisticas superiores comparando a quantidade de mana das cartas convencionais.

No post de hoje vamos ilustra esse fato em uma batalha épica, onde eu escolhi um invocador Soulbond e meu adversário escolheu o temível Eternal Tofu. A habilidade Conscript
é muito útil em batalha gostaria muito que ela continuasse no modo moderno, para que jogadores como eu tivessem acesso aos gladiadores.

A batalha contou com 29 de mana, e estavam disponíveis todos os Splinters, exceto Fogo e Água. As condições de batalha (rulesets) adicionaram ainda mais desafio e exigiram uma estratégia cuidadosa:

Nessa condições eu escolhi o invocador Soulbond do Splinter dragão, Helios Matriarch juntamente com Splinter Dragão, que dar a possibilidade de escolher um invocador desses Splinters. Já meu Oponente escalou o invocador lendário Eternal Tofu, multi-elemento (Terra e Vida).

Na primeira rodada, a minha carta com menos vida foi Vruz, que rapidamente foi derrotado. Porém, como essa monstro possui a habilidade Martyr isso aumenta as estatiscas das cartas adjancentes, que justamente são Quora Towershead e Halfling Refugee.

Eu coloquei estrategicamente três cartas com a habilidade Martyr e pouca vida, para fazer com que elas fossem rapidamennte derrotadas e aumentassem os poderes das cartas adjancentes. Assim, além das cartas já apresentadas como principal nessa batalha, temos Doctor Blight que foi buffado.

Na terceira rodada alguns monstros já não estão em campo. Restando apenas do meu lado: Quora Towershead e Doctor Blight. As cartas de dano melee são danificadas pela presença da habilidade Thorns, nossa sorte é que poucas cartas foram de dano melee.

Ao final apenas restou apenas uma carta no lado inimigo, que foi rapidamente derrotado por Quora. É nessas horas que penso na falta que a edição Chao Legion vai fazer, sem eles não poderemos escalar glsdiadores em uma batalha contra monstros e invocadores absurdos em poder.

Portanto, a coleção Conclave vem com tudo, novas cartas, invocadores e habilidades estão dispníveis fazendo todo jogo mudar. Porém, a rotação do Chaos Legion será um verdadeiro golpe para muitos jogadores de Splinterlands, pois como mostrado elas fazem a diferença em várias batalhas. Espero que tenham gostado!
