Este fin de semana que pasó estuvimos visitando el Parque Nacional Cajas y varios de los lugares más emblemáticos y populares de la zona. Entre ellos visitamos un lugar al que yo tenia muchísimas ganas de ir, creo que fue el más esperado de mi viaje y es que en este lugar hay muchas cosas que me encanta.

This past weekend we visited the Cajas National Park and several of the most emblematic and popular places in the area. Among them we visited a place that I really wanted to go, I think it was the most anticipated of my trip and is that in this place there are many things that I love.
Se trata de la Hacienda y Hoteria Dos Chorreras, habitado en el corazón de Cajas. Es la mezcla perfecta de lo natural, el aire puro y el chocolate, sí, el chocolate y claro, también las truchas, pero ese no es mi fuerte. Llegas al lugar y en feriado siempre está lleno, así que solo pudimos visitar sus alrededores, sin acceder a mi parte favorita del viaje que era la chocolateria, pero no me fui decepcionada, pues al siguiente día visitaría la que está en la Ciudad y luego les cuento que tal mi visita en ese mágico mundo también.

It is the Hacienda and Hoteria Dos Chorreras, located in the heart of Cajas. It is the perfect mix of nature, fresh air and chocolate, yes, chocolate and of course, also trout, but that is not my forte. You arrive at the place and on holidays it is always full, so we could only visit the surroundings, without accessing my favorite part of the trip which was the chocolate shop, but I did not leave disappointed, because the next day I would visit the one in the city and then I will tell you about my visit in that magical world as well.
La Hacienda es gigante, cuenta con servicio de hostería, siendo una experiencia mágica, pero también algo costosa, por lo cual no nos hospedamos allí. La entrada es gratuita, incluso para los visitantes que como nosotros no van a hospedarse allí. Cuando ingresas al lugar pasas un pequeño puente y puedes ver las chorreras de agua, los peces y sin duda, respirar el aire puro, mientras también contemplas las montañas a su alrededor. La hacienda está situada en la vía, es decir, tiene vista desde la carretera, lo que la hace muy accesible a los turistas.
Al recorrer el lugar, puedes ver caballos peludos, unos pequeños, no sé si así sé llaman, a esos no pude tomarlas fotos por la cantidad de personas que habían y como andaba con mis hijos, mi niña con autismo no quería acercarse por la aglomeración de personas. En toda la entrada está la chocolateria, más adelante el restaurante, una heladería y una capital de dulce (dulceria) donde mi hija mayor entró y compró algunos chocolates para ella y sus hermanos. También hay zonas o cabañas para entrar y sentarse, al fondo están los baños y hay varias fuentes de agua donde hay peces.

The Hacienda is gigantic, has an inn service, being a magical experience, but also somewhat expensive, so we did not stay there. The entrance is free, even for visitors like us who are not staying there. When you enter the place you pass a small bridge and you can see the water spouts, the fish and without a doubt, breathe the fresh air, while also contemplating the mountains around it. The hacienda is located on the road, that is, it has a view from the highway, which makes it very accessible to tourists.
As you walk around the place, you can see furry horses, some small ones, I don't know if that's what they are called, I couldn't take pictures of them because of the amount of people there and since I was with my children, my little girl with autism didn't want to get close to them because of the crowds of people. At the entrance there is a chocolate shop, further on there is a restaurant, an ice cream shop and a candy store where my oldest daughter went in and bought some chocolates for her and her siblings. There are also areas or huts to enter and sit, at the back are the bathrooms and there are several water fountains where there are fish.

Amé estar en este lugar, pero siento que no pude disfrutarlo al máximo, ni como lo había soñado, ya que mis hijos estaban muy cansados, el pequeño se irritó y no paraba de llorar, mientras que la que es autista solo quería irse, pues estaban realmente agotados. Sin embargo fue una visita increíble y sigo quedando con el deseo de poder visitar este lugar nuevamente y comer allí, degustar los chocolates artesanales y todo lo rico que hay, en ese lugar, más allá de ir a la cvocolateria que está en la Ciudad.
El frío, lo verde de la naturaleza, el olor a cacao y las fuentes de agua, con esa vista colonial de sus cabañas y estructuras, te hacen amar las Dos Chorreras.

I loved being in this place, but I feel that I could not enjoy it to the fullest, or as I had dreamed, because my children were very tired, the little one got irritated and did not stop crying, while the autistic one just wanted to leave, because they were really exhausted. However, it was an incredible visit and I still wish I could visit this place again and eat there, taste the handmade chocolates and all the delicious things that are there, beyond going to the chocolate shop that is in the city.
The cold, the green nature, the smell of cocoa and the water fountains, with that colonial view of its huts and structures, make you love Dos Chorreras.
