Hoy fue un día diferente pues por fin, luego de varias semanas queriendo hacerlo, pude asistir a una de las clases de modelaje que dicta mi socio en el local.
Yo no soy de esas personas que disfruta despertar temprano, y menos un fin de semana (a pesar de que dicto clases los domingos por la mañana), es por eso que me había costado tanto el poder asistir. Pero como esta vez tenía una razón de peso, me obligué a hacerlo, pues le tenía una sorpresa preparada.
Así que con la voluntad que no tenía, pues había pasado la noche lloviendo y parte de la mañana y me sentía agotada, me arreglé para salir de casa a eso de las 10 am.
Today was a different day because finally, after several weeks of wanting to, I was able to attend one of the modeling classes my partner teaches at the store.
I'm not one of those people who enjoys waking up early, especially on a weekend (even though I teach classes on Sunday mornings), which is why it had been so hard for me to attend. But since I had a compelling reason this time, I forced myself to do it, as I had a surprise prepared for him.
So, with the willpower I lacked—it had been raining all night and part of the morning, and I was feeling exhausted—I got ready to leave the house around 10 am.

Me tocó brincar mucho de camino a la avenida, e incluso pasé por debajo de un árbol caído, que fue una de las consecuencias de las lluvias tan fuertes de los últimos dos días.
Por suerte logré llegar ilesa a la avenida.

I had to jump a lot on the way to the avenue, and I even walked under a fallen tree, which was one of the consequences of the heavy rains of the last two days.
Luckily, I made it back to the avenue unharmed.
Al llegar ya estaban 3 de sus alumnos esperando fuera del local y como yo me había llevado la llave, fui abriendo para no estar esperando afuera. Justo cuando estaba abriendo la puerta llegó.
Pasados unos minutos llegaron otros de sus alumnos, aunque solo eran la mitad según me cuentan. Nos imaginamos que por el clima muchos no pudieron asistir.
De ahí iniciaron con sus prácticas, en las que me vi involucrada sin querer jajaja de esto no hay evidencias porque yo pedí que me grabaran, pero les puedo decir que no es fácil y aún me duelen las muñecas.

Cabe destacar que una de mis alumnas en el curso de pintura también es su alumna en modelaje. Ella se inscribió en sus clases gracias a que yo le mencioné sobre su agencia y parte de lo que me motivó a asistir era que ella quería que la viera modelar.
Era genial ver como todos entraban en personaje a la hora de modelar, yo sinceramente no podría porque apenas siento que me están viendo me pongo nerviosa.

Ambos se han vuelto grandes amigos y disfruto mucho compartir con ellos. De ahí viene lo del presente, pues quería tener un gesto especial con mi socio por estos meses de amistad y sociedad que llevamos.
Gracias a su apoyo es que hoy tengo mi centro artístico y de alguna forma quería retribuirle esto. Sabía que le gustaba mucho un personaje llamado Tata, y se me ocurrió tejerle uno.
No soy la persona más cariñosa del mundo, así que trato de demostrar mi afecto teniendo esta clase de gestos con las personas especiales que se cruzan en mi camino.
Luego de varios días tejiendo, y en una espera enorme para encontrar los ojitos adecuados para este peluchito tejido a crochet, por fin pude terminarlo y tenerlo justo a tiempo para entregárselo el día que nos viéramos.
Mi alumna se ofreció a grabar y luego de que hice que él intentara adivinar qué era sin ver, abrió los ojos y saltó de emoción a abrazarme. Quedé más que feliz porque sé que le encantó y logré mi objetivo.
Así finalizó mi aventura del día, donde pude por fin estar en una de las clases de modelaje, brindar mi apoyo, conocer a los modelos, participar un poco en la dinámica de la clase, y por supuesto, entregar ese regalo tan especial. ♥

Thanks to his support, I now have my art center, and I wanted to give back in some way. I knew he really liked a character named Tata, and I thought I'd knit him one.

After several days of knitting, and a long wait to find the right eyes for this crocheted plushie, I was finally able to finish it and have it just in time to give it to him the day we met.
My student offered to record it, and after I had him try to guess what it was without seeing, he opened his eyes and jumped up with excitement to hug me. I was more than happy because I knew he loved it, and I achieved my goal.
Thus ended my adventure for the day, where I was finally able to attend one of the modeling classes, offer my support, meet the models, participate a little in the class dynamics, and of course, give away that very special gift. ♥
