Hello Splinterlands friends, this week I'm celebrating. I've finally been able to level up one of the Epic rarity Reward cards to its maximum level. And the best part is that it's one of my favorites.

None other than the incredible Olivia of the Brook, one of my favorite Epic rarity cards in this new batch of Reward cards, and which also belongs to the Life Splinter, one of the ones I use the most.

And why is Olivia of the Brook one of my favorite cards? Not only because of her 2 attacks but also because of her Mimic ability, which makes her a unique card in the game with a lot of potential.
Being able to learn an ability from enemy cards each turn makes her extremely powerful.

In this battle, my enemy and I played a similar strategy, based on Aves Sturgis as the main card. Around it, cards without attacks that will obtain its magic attack.
I opted to position Olivia of the Brook in the last position, hoping that she could learn as many abilities as possible. Due to the number of creatures my enemy has with magic attack, having selected Grandmaster Rathe gives me an advantage.
In just one turn, I manage to destroy Aves Sturgis, and although Olivia of the Brook is poisoned, she learns the Poison ability. My magic attacks are doing a lot of damage to my enemy, who has nothing to defend themselves with.
At the beginning of the second turn, Olivia of the Brook will learn Scavenger, which is very useful for trying to counteract the damage from the poison. In this turn, I lose my first creature, Blinding Reflector, although my enemy suffers the loss of one of their most important creatures, Djinn Chwala.
At the beginning of the third turn, the poison damage is already endangering Olivia of the Brook. In this turn, she learns the Armored Strike ability. At the end of this turn, I destroy Imperial Knight, so my enemy has lost all their most powerful melee attack creatures.
In the fourth turn, Olivia of the Brook is dying due to the poison. Even so, she learns the Bloodlust ability, although an attack from Uraeus ends her life. But every cloud has a silver lining, and it is in this turn that I finish off Helmet Kharafax and Nimbledook Explorer.
Finally, in the fifth turn and without any chance of recovery, my enemy ends up losing the battle with the loss of Uraeus.
In summary, a simple battle in which we have been able to observe the incredible potential of a card like Olivia of the Brook, which can learn endless abilities and become more and more powerful.
En este combate jugamos una estrategia similar tanto mi enemigo como yo, basándonos en Aves Sturgis como principal carta. A su alrededor cartas sin ataques que conseguirán su ataque mágico.
Yo me he decantado por posicionar a Olivia of the Brook en última posición y esperar así que pueda aprender la mayor cantidad de habilidades posible. Debido a la cantidad de criaturas que mi enemigo tiene con ataque mágico, en haber seleccionado a Grandmaster Rathe me da una ventaja.
En tan solo un turno consigo destruir a Aves Sturgis y Olivia of the Brook aunque es envenenada, aprende la habilidad Poison. Mis ataques mágicos están haciendo mucho daño a mi enemigo que no tiene con qué defenderse.
Al comienzo del segundo turno Olivia of the Brook aprenderá Scavenger que me viene muy bien para intentar contrarrestar el daño sufrido por el veneno. En este turno pierdo a mi primera criatura Blinding Reflector, aunque mi enemigo sufre la baja de una de sus criaturas más importantes Djinn Chwala.
Al comienzo del tercer turno el daño por veneno pone ya en peligro a Olivia of the Brook, en este turno aprende la habilidad Armored Strike. Al final de este turno destruyo a Imperial Knight con lo que mi enemigo a perdido a todas sus criaturas más poderosas de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo.
En el turno cuarto Olivia of the Brook está agonizando debido al veneno, aún así aprende la habilidad *Bloodlust, aunque un ataque de Uraeus acaba con su vida. Aunque no hay mal que por bien no venga y es en este turno en el que termino con la vida de Helmet Kharafax y Nimbledook Explorer.
Ya por último, en el quinto turno y sin posibilidades de remontada mi enemigo termina por perder la batalla con la perdida de Uraeus.
En resumen, un sencillo combate en el que hemos podido observar el increíble potencial que tiene una carta como Olivia of the Brook que puede aprender un sinfín de habilidades y volverse más y más poderosa.
