I went home at 3 in the afternoon. I didn’t get much money, but I hoped I would earn more in the evening. Then I fed my chickens. After that, I wanted to escape from my burdens. The debt payment deadline was stressing me out. I went to the lake where I usually go fishing. There, I found peace and relaxation. I could think calmly.

I walked carefully because the grass was tall; I was afraid of snakes. The air was refreshing, and sunlight peeked through the thick leaves. I found some plants I didn’t recognize, so I checked their names with Google Lens. It was a quiet moment of discovery, surrounded by nature, light, and a sense of peace.

It was Panicum repens, a grass I often saw in the fields. Birds liked it a lot. I enjoyed watching them peck its seeds.

There was a black, hard stone that touched my foot. I picked it up, curious. It might be from the bottom of the lake.

The lake water mirrored the clouds and the blue sky so clearly that it felt like a second heaven beneath my feet. The reflection added depth to the scene, making the peacefulness feel even more dramatic.

The sunlight had not burned my skin again because it was already 3 p.m. The gentle warmth made everything more comfortable. I looked at the lake, then up at the sky. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. When I opened them, everything was green and wonderful. Nature felt calm and kind . It was my true friend.
