It's a new day, and I'm back to share more photos with you. In Venezuela, we've had heavy rains for over five consecutive days, so these photos stick to that theme: a cold, rainy day.
The first photos I'll show you were taken from my house. I want to share something I'm really excited about: I planted a tomato in a pot on my balcony, and after some time, it has finally started bearing fruit!
Amanece un nuevo dia en el que estoy devuelta a compartirles mas fotografias, en venezuela hemos tenido fuertes lluvias por mas de 5 dias seguidos asi que estas fotos siguen dentro de esa misma tematica, un dia frio y lluvioso.
Las primeras fotos que les mostraré las tomé desde mi casa, quiero mostrarles algo que me tiene muy emocionado, planté un tomate en una maceta en mi balcon y despues de un tiempo porfin ha comenzado a dar frutos y me ha devuelto el amor por la jardineria:
This was the view I had from my window at that moment:
Esta era la vista que tenia en ese momento desde mi ventana:
It was raining so hard that the breeze was coming through the windows and wetting one of my indoor plants. I wanted to capture the raindrops on its leaves:
Estaba lloviendo tan duro que la brisa entraba por las ventanas y mojó una de las plantas que tengo adentro, quise hacerle una foto a las gotas en sus hojas:
Before heading out, I went up to the top floor of my building to take a photo from the lobby window. I wanted to show you this perspective of the city, which I think looks very interesting from above:
Antes de salir a la calle subí al ultimo piso de mi edificio para hacer una foto desde la ventana del lobby, queria mostrarles esta perspectiva de la ciudad que siento que se ve muy interesante desde arriba:
I had some errands to do, so I brought my camera to take photos along the way...
Rain or not, street vendors are out everyday looking to earn money for their homes:
Tenia que hacer unas cosas así que llevé mi camara ir tomando fotos en el camino...
LLueva o no, los vendedores callejeros salen a buscar el dinero para su hogar:
I saw this scene and found it very curious: two people on a motorcycle dragging a shopping cart:
Vi esta escena y me pareció muy curiosa, dos personas en una moto iban arrastrando un carrito de mercado:
I arrived at one of the stores I needed to go to, and once inside, I saw this girl looking at the rain through the glass:
Llegué a una de las tiendas a las que necesitaba ir y ya dentro ví a esta chica mirando la lluvia a traves del vidrio:
I went to another place and took more photos on the way. I like how all these photos have that "wet" texture, and I like how the pavement looks on rainy days:
Fuí a otro sitio y en el camino tomé mas fotos, me gusta que todas estas fotos tienen esa textura de "mojado" y me gusta como se vé el pavimento en dias lluviosos:
I arrived at a vegetable market and took this photo; I like how everything looks full of fresh vegetables:
LLegué a un mercado de verduras y tomé esta foto, me gusta como se vé todo lleno de vegetales frescos:
I was already on my way home, and on one of the streets I passed, I saw something very interesting there was a house full of gigantic antennas. I don't know why they're there, but I found it very intriguing!
Ya iba de regreso a mi hogar y en unas de las calles por que la que pasé vi algo muy interesante, habia una casa llena de antenas gigantescas, desconozco porque estan allí pero me parecio muy intrigante!
Very close to the previous photo, I saw another house that I photographed because the scene looked very beautiful with the lights, the rain, and the pine tree:
Muy cerca de la foto anterior vi otra casa a la que le tomé foto pues la escena me parecio muy bonita con las luces, la lluvia y el arbol de pino:
I took the next photo for two reasons: the first is that everything looked "wet," and I wanted to convey that. The second is because the two cars in the photo are Colombian, which is uncommon to see here.
La siguiente foto la tomé por dos razones, la primera es que todo se veia "mojado" y queria transmitir eso, la siguiente es porque los dos carros de la foto son de nacionalidad Colombiana y eso es poco comun de ver aqui.
Minutes after I got home, the rain had calmed down a bit, and when I looked out the window, I saw a very beautiful landscape. I loved how that line of clouds looked below the mountain with the antennas on top of it.
Minutos despues de llegar a mi casa la lluvia se habia calmado un poco y al asomarme por la ventana vi un paisaje muy bonito, amé como se veia esa linea de nubes debajo de la montaña con las antenas en el tope de la montaña.
