Hello everyone, greetings and I hope you are all very well, I know it’s been a while since my last post, I’m so sorry! Things have been pretty rough lately, I’m very happy to be able to post today though, today I show you my 16th post, the today was a little jump back into my comfort zone, I love drawing food, you guys, you have no idea, drawing food is so nice and comforting for me, sometimes is kind of hard to show the textures when it’s just a sketch, drawing meat for example, when it’s just lines, no colors, no shading, it is kind of hard for the kind of meat to be obvious or distinguishable, I hope I’m making myself understood.
Firstly, I made some line, my hand is kind of rusty, honestly so it was pretty hard to draw the base lines for the bowl cleanly. Still, I did my best, the bread was easy, very simple shapes, the original picture was some vegetable soup, but I felt more like drawing ramen, which is way more recognizable than the chucks of vegetables and soup, , today, I wanted to do something different, I didn’t want to leave it as a sketch, I wanted to use this line pencil, and it was kind of intimidating. Still, everything felt way more clean and it integrated so smoothly it came to a point where I didn’t need the sketch anymore.
After I felt comfortable with the pencil, the sketch took off. I even dared replicate the design of the bowl on the original picture, I love the moomins. I thought it was gonna look very cute, and in fact, it did, I just had to add more detail and it wrapped everything up almost for itself, I hope you liked it, because I certainly loved it.

Hola a todos, saludos y espero que estén muy bien. Sé que ha pasado un tiempo desde mi última publicación, ¡lo siento mucho! Últimamente las cosas han estado bastante difíciles, pero estoy muy feliz de poder publicar hoy. Hoy les muestro mi publicación número 16. Hoy fue un pequeño salto a mi zona de confort. Me encanta dibujar comida,, no tienen idea, dibujar comida es tan agradable y reconfortante para mí. A veces es un poco difícil mostrar las texturas cuando es solo un boceto, por ejemplo, dibujar carne, cuando son solo líneas, sin colores ni sombreado, es un poco difícil que el tipo de carne sea obvio o distinguible. Espero haberme hecho entender.
Primero, hice algunas líneas, mi mano está un poco oxidada, honestamente, así que fue bastante difícil dibujar las líneas de base para el tazón limpiamente, pero hice lo mejor que pude, el pan fue fácil, formas muy simples, la imagen original era una sopa de verduras, pero tenía más ganas de dibujar ramen, que es mucho más reconocible que los trozos de verduras y sopa, hoy, quería hacer algo diferente, no quería dejarlo como un boceto, quería usar este lápiz de línea, y era un poco intimidante, pero todo se sentía mucho más limpio y se integró tan suavemente que llegó a un punto en el que ya no necesitaba el boceto
Después de sentirme cómoda con el lápiz, el dibujo cobró vida, e incluso me atreví a replicar el diseño del tazón de la imagen original, me encantan los moomins y pensé que se vería muy lindo, y de hecho, así fue, solo tuve que agregar más detalles y lo finiquitó todo casi por sí solo, espero que les haya gustado, porque a mí sin duda me encantó.
