A couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to photograph and film a local band here in Lithuania. The band is called , and they play post-punk music—though I’ll admit, I’m not the best at recognizing music styles, so don’t quote me on that! 😅 We mainly focused on creating short video clips for Instagram reels to promote their upcoming album, but I also managed to snap a few photos between filming.

The shoot took place in Kaunas, and even though it was a bit stressful juggling both photography and videography, it was also a lot of fun. I’ve never really worked with a whole group like this before, so it was definitely a new experience for me. Luckily, they’re all my friends and not official clients, which made the atmosphere more relaxed. We could laugh, take breaks, and not worry too much about making everything perfect.

Since the focus was mostly on filming, I didn’t plan out a big photo session. I just took some quick shots in between takes—kind of capturing moments as they happened. The photos are simple and candid, nothing too posed or polished.

I didn’t do much editing this time. One of the band members, the woman in the group, is into photography herself. I figured she might want to give the photos her own touch or style later. So I kept them mostly as they were, just doing a few basic adjustments to exposure and contrast.

I’m sharing a few of those shots here in this post. I hope you enjoy them!

If you’re curious to hear their music, you can check out Pusto on or Spotify. Their new album is coming out this month!
