Health is wealth is a saying that has long been in existence and shouldn’t be taken for granted for any reason. When there’s good health, life is definitely bound to get better at some point, so your health should be your first and top most priority as a person at all times, and this also extends to one’s personal environment and it’s level of neatness…

When it comes to matters relating to my body and lifestyle especially my health in particular, i don’t joke with my health neither do i take it for granted. I grew up seeing the effects of different environmental related problems in the life of humans, especially in my neighborhood where matters relating to one’s environmental health is handled with levity and a high degree of unseriousness, so to avoid any health related challenges in the near future i am always environmental conscious…

A healthy environment is one of the best gifts you can give yourself as a person, especially for someone who is hoping to live long and well. Living healthy doesn’t only mean eating healthy foods, it also means staying in an healthy environment. An unhealthy environment is bound to take a toll on one’s health…

I remember how i had to cut short the duration of my holiday at a friend’s place a couple of months ago mainly because of how unhealthy their environment was. The unhealthiness of that particular place wasn’t neatness related because it was neat to an extent, at-least conducive enough for human beings to dwell, but then in the aspect of toxicity, air pollution and noise pollution, their environment topped the chart in that level, and that was because they had different calibers of youths in their environment, since that particular location is a student area…

They had the smokers set and noise pollutant set in their environment, and for someone like me who values clean air for healthy inhalation, I just couldn’t cope with that and had to leave before my planned date. I had to find an excuse to leave earlier than planned, only i know the reason for my sudden departure…

MY DEFINITION OF A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT…

My idea for a healthy environment is pretty simple and direct. An environment that is deprived of excessive noise, air pollution, and toxicity of any level is my idea of a healthy environment. I might not be a neat freak but then i am neat to an extent, which also makes neatness a crucial element to my idea of a healthy environment…

Standard building materials, functioning water system, good drainage, good ventilation system, and a good cleaning personnel are components that must be put in place before such place can be termed healthy…

IS MY ENVIRONMENT HEALTHY???

Hmmm, this is a deep question. If i were to rate the healthiness level of my environment on a scale of 1-10, i would rate the healthiness of my environment a 7 for a couple of reasons. The environment where i’m currently dwelling in is neat to an extent, we have a cleaner that comes to clean the environment and the toilets a couple of times weekly, there’s good ventilation system, and no noise pollution. The only problem with my environment is AIR POLLUTION, and this is as a result of the smokers that also dwell here with us, since it’s a student lodge…

I am only able to live comfortably here because the smokers apartment is a bit far to my room, and thanks to the distance between my room and their apartment the concentration of the smoke coming to my room is very low and i have the air to thank for that. The only people i pity are those staying immediately apposite their apartment, the smell of whatever they are smoking will more concentrated in their room than mine because of the little to no distance between them…

In summary, smokers are everywhere but then I think there should be a restriction to the way they do their things, they don’t have to make life difficult for those who don’t smoke and that is exactly why some actions need to be taken…

In conclusion, the only solution to this particular environmental problem is to evacuate the occupants of that room and to make a rule against occupying smokers in the house. If this can be done then a healthy environment is definitely guaranteed…
