Hello my dear Family & Friends! Hi to all Hiverians! How was your Thursday? I hope all are having a good and a blessed day together with our beloved family and friends. For today's blog let me share with you all my daughter’s Recognition program, Graduation Program and Lunch bonding.The Recognition Program of my eldest daughter happened last April 14th ;while the Graduation Program of my youngest daughter was last 15th at 8-10AM and the Lunch Bonding of my eldest daughter was on the same day of my youngest daughter graduation last April 15th at lunch time.
The recognition day of my eldest daughter was at eight in the morning and that was Monday so we woke up early to prepare. As a proud , feeling blessed and happy Mother I was so excited to attend and be with my daughter to receive her Academic Excellence award. My daughter from the first quarter up to the 4th quarter was able to be on the Academic excellence award list. Her class adviser asked me to took picture of her with my daughter.
My youngest daughter's Graduation day started at 8 AM so we woke up and prepared early. We are happy because my daughter was transferred from another school and just transferred here for the sixth grade Yet; she still received an Academic Excellence Award.
She was a nonchalant girl but she made classmates and a best friend.She has one girl closed friend who always coms to our home to visit my her and they played Badminton on weekends.
Her best friend was a male classmate and during weekends they played online games together like Roblox, mobile legends. Etc. They are both happy but on the other hand they are sad because her friend would enroll in different highschool. He would also go back to live with his Dad because he is a teenager now and so His parents think he can do it on his own to take care of himself. His mom is working abroad, while his dad is working and living in their home alone . He lives and grows up with his grandmother and aunt.
What I like about my youngest daughter's best friend is his respect towards me, the mother of my daughter and to the elder sister of my youngest daughter. He connected to us by chat and whenever He saw me he would greet me and do MANO PO( Asking my hand to put in his forehead as a sign of respect) and he always do that. My eldest daughter attend also her youngest sister graduation, she was happy that her sister made it and graduate with Academic excellence Award.
After the graduation ceremony and class pictorial we go back home to freshen up then we would go to my eldest daughter's lunch bonding with her classmates and teacher. We pass by in SM to buy Lechon manok(roasted chicken)and a Cake in Red Ribbon but that cake would be meant for my youngest daughter's graduation and my eldest daughter's recognition.
The dedication of the cake was for graduation and the recognition so both of my daughters shared the cake but we would also shared it.
Besides her adviser and most of my daughter's classmates become also my friend. Each time they have a group or class project they would come and do it in our home. As one of the parents teacher homeroom officers , Her teacher and I became friends because her teacher would talk to me about her needs in her class and our projects as parents of her students. My daughter suggested this to their class adviser that they would have a lunch bonding after the Recognition so I just supported her and I asked her teacher if we parents can join them and she said Yes so I bought a bigger cake.
I was amazed by how the students brought food, hanging Rice,dessert and soft drinks to share for lunch. The teacher was happy because we brought cake and that made the lunch complete.
I enjoyed sharing the blessing because my daughter's classmates are happy and they are also enjoying the lunch because of the food they bring and share.All was full and all was smiling.
The funniest thing is they put the icing cake on their faces. The teacher just laughs seeing her students have icing on their faces. The food has lots of leftovers so the teacher divides it and gives it to students who want to bring home food. What really touches me is the teacher cried because before she let us go home she make a speech, She thanks all her students that did their best and she encouraged them especially the Academic Achievers to continue doing their best and those who are not achievers to do more for the next school year .To the parents she thanks for supporting her for the classroom projects. Before we go back home MY eldest daughter's close friends and classmates take my hand for MANO PO and say goodbye to us. Her teacher also said thanks and waved goodbye to us.
