Dear Hive friends, the weekend is just around the corner and with it comes the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved rest. I hope you all can take advantage of it to recharge your batteries and enjoy unique moments with your loved ones. As for me, this week was quite relaxed, a nice break compared to how intense the previous one was.
Today I want to share with you my experience at Sunsol Ecoland, a place that became the setting for much of my day, which is located in the Pedro González sector, Gomez municipality, Nueva Esparta state in Margarita Island.
Queridos amigos de Hive, el fin de semana ya está a la vuelta de la esquina y con él llega la oportunidad de disfrutar de un descanso merecido. Espero que todos puedan aprovecharlo para recargar energías y disfrutar momentos únicos con sus seres queridos. En cuanto a mí, esta semana fue bastante relajada, una agradable pausa comparada con lo intensa que fue la anterior.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en el Sunsol Ecoland, un lugar que se convirtió en el escenario de gran parte de mi jornada, el cual se encuentra ubicado en el sector Pedro González, municipio Gómez,l estado Nueva Esparta en Isla Margarita.
This hotel is really huge and touring it can be a bit tiring, but it is always worth enjoying what it has to offer. In addition, it has internal transportation to facilitate the movement of tourists due to the extensive facilities.
Este hotel es realmente enorme y recorrerlo puede resultar un poco agotador, pero siempre vale la pena disfrutar de lo que tiene para ofrecer. Además, cuenta con transporte interno para facilitar los desplazamientos de los turistas debido a lo extenso de sus instalaciones.
Among its many areas, the hotel has a beach, swimming pools, paddle tennis court, a beautiful lagoon where it is possible to ride a boat or a water bike. It is such a complete space that it is difficult to explore every corner in a single day. However, each visit to this place leaves a unique and renewing impression.
Entre sus múltiples áreas, el hotel tiene playa, piscinas, cancha de pádel, una hermosa laguna donde es posible montar en bote o bicicleta acuática. Es un espacio tan completo que resulta difícil explorar cada rincón en un solo día. Sin embargo, cada visita a este lugar deja una impresión única y renovadora.
Today was a special day dedicated to the maintenance of the filters that guarantee the quality of the water in various areas of the hotel. On this occasion, the low influx of tourism allowed us to do a more extensive job, and my husband, with some time to spare, was willing to help me. Instead of limiting maintenance to a single filter, as usual, we managed to attend to four in total - a significant step forward!
We started with the kitchen filters, backwashing and checking each step to ensure the best water quality. This is an essential aspect to offer an impeccable service to tourists.
Hoy fue un día especial dedicado al mantenimiento de los filtros que garantizan la calidad del agua en diversas áreas del hotel. En esta ocasión, la baja afluencia de turismo nos permitió realizar un trabajo más amplio, y mi esposo, con algo de tiempo libre, estuvo dispuesto a ayudarme. En lugar de limitar el mantenimiento a un único filtro, como es habitual, logramos atender cuatro en total. ¡Un avance significativo!
Empezamos con los filtros de cocina, haciendo el retrolavado y comprobando cada paso para asegurar la mejor calidad del agua. Este es un aspecto esencial para ofrecer un servicio impecable a los turistas.
Then we went to the most important filter, the water treatment plant, which has the crucial function of supplying purified water to the hotel, as well as being the source for the ice machine and the bottles distributed in the different areas. It was the one that demanded the most effort, but we managed to leave the water crystal clear and ready for consumption.
Luego, nos dirigimos al filtro más importante, el de la potabilizadora, que cumple la función crucial de abastecer de agua purificada al hotel, además de ser la fuente para la máquina de hielo y los botellones distribuidos en las diferentes áreas. Fue el que más esfuerzo demandó, pero logramos dejar el agua cristalina y lista para consumir.
Our next target was the laundry filter, composed of two large pieces that also required meticulous attention. The backwash was thorough and we were able to leave the water completely clean, free of solids and in perfect condition for use.
Nuestro siguiente objetivo fue el filtro de la lavandería, compuesto por dos grandes piezas que también requerían atención meticulosa. El retrolavado fue exhaustivo y logramos dejar el agua completamente limpia, libre de sólidos y en perfectas condiciones para su uso.
Finally, we focused on the last filter, located in the probe near the laundry. This proved to be a challenge initially, as the water came out with a brownish hue, but after our constant work, we were able to improve it to a high purity level.
Finalmente, nos enfocamos en el último filtro, ubicado en la sonda cercana a la lavandería. Este resultó ser un desafío inicial, ya que el agua salía con un tono marrón, pero tras nuestro trabajo constante, logramos mejorarla hasta tener un alto% de pureza.
The day progressed quickly and before we knew it, it was already past three o'clock in the afternoon. Hunger was beginning to take its toll, but the satisfaction of having completed our work kept us focused to the last detail. Each filter checked and restored was photographed and recorded in a spreadsheet, following the hotel's new orientation to guarantee transparency and facilitate payment procedures.
With the work finished and the joy of having done a good job, we headed to the nearest bakery to enjoy a well-deserved snack. Thus we closed the day, with gratitude and a feeling of wellbeing.
La jornada avanzó rápidamente y antes de que nos diéramos cuenta, ya eran más de las tres de la tarde. El hambre empezaba a hacerse sentir con fuerza, pero la satisfacción de haber concluido nuestro trabajo nos mantuvo enfocados hasta el último detalle. Cada filtro revisado y restaurado fue fotografiado y registrado en una planilla, siguiendo la nueva orientación del hotel para garantizar transparencia y facilitar los trámites de pago.
Con el trabajo terminado y la alegría de haber hecho una buena labor, nos dirigimos a la panadería más cercana para disfrutar de una merecida merienda. Así cerramos la jornada, con gratitud y un sentimiento de bienestar.
