I hope you're all having an enjoyable weekend so far. I know I'm enjoying it. About all I've done this morning is enjoy some coffee in the backyard. Now I brought the laptop out here with me (and a second cup of coffee) to start putting together the finishing touches on the post for today. Later on I have some errands to run, which I prefer to do on Saturdays or Sundays, around here there is a lot less traffic on the weekends!
Saturday is usually a financial post, today is no exception. As far as the markets go it looks like we're seeing a small bounce back after the Israeli attack on Iran. Fortunately, Bitcoin was able to maintain it's price above $100,000, or things really could have gotten ugly. It's looking more and more like this range will be the norm for the foreseeable future.
In the chart you can see right where news of the attack crashed the BTC price.
What's fascinating is just how much the Hive chart resembles the BTC chart for the last week. It may not have climbed as high but the price movements are remarkably similar. I had feared that Hive might drop to $0.19 if BTC went under $100K, but it looks like we dodged that bullet. At least for now anyway...

I always try to buy up some Hive on those dips. It may not be as cheap as last years when they were below $0.20, but it's not too badly priced for now.
Now moving on to the Saturday Savers portion of my post. For those unfamiliar with the community, we all pick out primary and secondary goals for the year and try our best to achieve them. Then once a week you review your progress and adjust any strategies as needed to reach those bars you have set for yourself.
I've found it has helped me to achieve my goals faster by doing a weekly analysis of my status. My primary goal of the year was to improve my Hive Power and so far so good. Let's have a look.
Hive Power
This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP.
Current HP: 8,900 (89.0% complete)
Goal HP: 10,000
I increased my HP by 147 this week, which is about average for me as of late. So doing some quick math in my head I should be arriving at my goal in about 7 weeks if I keep up this pace. However, I hope to get there sooner by powering up HBD converted to Hive when I can get some cheap Hive on the dips. I'm getting ever so close to this one, I can almost taste it!
And then what you may ask? Onward and upward, but I'm not sure if I'll increase my HP goal or set another one for another project altogether. I have been considering hitting 12K HP by years end, but I still have to make it to the first finish line of 10K before I make a final decision.

It always feels great to have met a goal, and I've finished three so far and that HP is getting close as well!
PIMP
My secondary goal of the year. Great token that is backed by both BTC and physical silver. I'm slowly heading for 100K! I did buy over 1K more tokens this week at a good price.

I bought some LEO for LPUD tomorrow, I still try to power up at least 150 each power up day.

PIZZA
This last one has been kind of a quiet goal that I'm doing solely on speculation that it may go up some more this year. Plus it gives me 15 tips a day and occasionally a nice curation.

DUO
Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day as well. For those who stake 500 or more you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well.
The price has increase by 50% over the last two weeks as the second tranche of tokens sold out and we're into the third priced 1.5 Hive each. This was a rare week that I didn't buy too many, only upping my stack by four as I was finishing up a couple other goals.

EDSI
This week I managed to add 7 tokens all bought at less than one Hive, so I was happy with the price!
EDSI: 144 (72% complete)
Goal: 200
If I keep up the weekly buys I should make it to the goal in the next few months! This is a great token that pays out liquid Hive weekly and curations when holding more than 100 in your account.
DBOND, DAB, and RUG
It's been awhile since I've mentioned this trio. I haven't purchased any more of DBOND or DAB but they continue to grow in my account. I did buy a few RUG. Staked DBOND produces DAB tokens. Unstaked DAB tokens earn liquid Hive and staked DAB earns more DBOND. RUG invests outside of Hive and brings in profits and pays out in the form of DBOND. Last time I mentioned these was about a month and a half ago.
DBOND last report I had 305, now 313.
DAB last report I had 61.6 and now 67.4
RUG last report 25, I have picked up 5 since then
So slowly it is making money, and that is their motto. Getting rich slowly! I'll continue to hang onto these three and just watch them grow.
CCD
I continue to hold this token and earn some daily from an HP delegation. This is a project by the @cryptocompany and has some nice benefits. Those who hold one million staked can claim one HSBI daily, if you have 500K staked you can claim an HSBI twice a week, and at 100K staked you can claim an HSBI once a month.
CCD current: 528,000 roughly
At the moment I'm only earning through delegation, I have other tokens and HP to finish up before trying to get up to one million. But it would be nice to get one free HSBI daily!
Silver and Gold
The precious metals market continues to show strength. Silver is hanging in above $36, it's hard to believe in 1999 it was just a little over $5! Gold is on a serious tear punching through $1,400 per Troy ounce. I still think we will see gold over $4,000 per Troy ounce and silver over $40 per Troy ounce by year's end 2025.
I will continue to invest here as I have done for years, it's always been a great investment!

Every week I like to share a deal I find on some precious metals, and I found a pretty good deal on some Canadian Maple Leaf one Troy ounce silver coins. These are damaged in some way, referred to as a cull coin and what you receive can be from random years. But they are a great price!

The are priced at $39.55, only $2.99 over silver spot price per Troy ounce, as of the time of writing this post. It may not be a perfect coin but it is pure silver and not a bad way to add some to your investment portfolio for a good price! What I like about APMEX is they let you pay with crypto, even the shipping which is awesome!
Historically gold and silver are a great way to build wealth, and are always a smart investment in anyone's portfolio.
