Hello everyone and :3 welcome (again) to the daily pixelart blogs, nwn I will resume my daily pixelart animations, mostly to not lose practice and speed when making animations and illustrations nwn, I decided to start with something simple to warm up, for this animation I decided to use a different color palette, and the mirror tool which, in fact I had not used before, and it allowed me to color faster and even make the base of my pixelart much faster.

In this case it works perfectly for me because they were straight lines and very few curves, in pixelart, making buildings, cars, houses, anything that is straight is much easier and less complex than other types of silhouettes, if you look at my other projects I have made more complex figures, more organic shapes like the human body or nature, and that is where the real difficulty lies, because almost always you will see curves, or lines that are not quite straight due to the nature of the element that I try to capture.

The point is : for today the element is less complex, to resume my daily activity, an old lantern that uses candles to illuminate or if we want to get more mystical, it might use magic to illuminate nwn, the background is basic, dark, to give prominence to the light inside the lantern, when I started drawing I still didn't have clear how I was going to make an animation of such a simple object, but that's the joke of this practice, to think where there can, or should be an animation, my biggest delay was, the color palette, it's always a dilemma to choose the right colors, at least for me, colors are very important to tell a silent story, to give a context without words.

Hola a todos y :3 bienvenidos (de nuevo)a los blogs diarios de pixelart, nwn Retomare mis animaciones en pixelart diarias, mas que nada para no perder la practica y velocidad al momento de hacer animaciones e ilustraciones nwn, decidí comenzar con algo simple para calentar, para esta animación decidí usar una paleta de colores distinta, y la herramienta espejo que, de hecho no la había usado antes, y me permitió colorear mas rápido e incluso hacer la base de mi pixelart muchísimo mas rapido.
En este caso me funciona a la perfección porque eran líneas rectas y muy pocas curvas, en pixelart, hacer edificios, carros, casas, cualquier cosa que sea recta es mucho mas fácil y menos complejo que otro tipo de siluetas, si se fijan en otros proyectos he hecho figuras mas complejas, formas mas orgánicas como el cuerpo humano o naturaleza, y allí es donde reside la verdadera dificultad, porque casi siempre veras curvas, o líneas que no son del todo rectas debido a la naturaleza del elemento que intento plasmar.
El punto es : para hoy el elemento es menos complejo, para retomar mi actividad diaria, una linterna antigua que usa velas para iluminar o si nos queremos poner mas místicos, puede que use magia para iluminar nwn, el fondo es básico, oscuro, para darle protagonismo a la luz del interior de la linterna, cuando comencé a dibujar aun no tenia claro como iba a hacer una animación de un objeto tan simple, pero ese es el chiste de esta practica, pensar donde puede, o debería haber una animación, mi mayor demora fue, la paleta de colores, siempre es un dilema escoger los colores apropiados, al menos para mi, los colores son muy importantes para relatar una historia silenciosa, para dar un contexto sin palabras.

Para la base no hay mucho misticismo ni secreto, es una lampara con un aire victoriano supongo, busque en internet, ilustraciones y paletas de colores que me gustaran, y creo que conseguí buenos ejemplos de ello, los colores marrones, morados, grises, oro, miel, hacen una buena combinación en general por el contraste

the third image shows my first attempt at backlighting, as the light from inside should be projected outside, but my first attempt looks like an explosion XD so I tried it again

la tercera imagen muestra mi primer intento de hacer una iluminación de fondo, ya que la luz del interior debería proyectarse afuera, pero mi primer intento parece una explosion XD así que volví a intentarlo

when I finally placed the background color, I decided to look in the chromatic circle and try again and again the right color, I found it in the yellow palette but more inclined towards grays, so I had my perfect color to make the reflection of the light on the outside of my lamp.

cuando finalmente coloque el color de fondo, decidi buscar en el circulo cromatico y probar una y otra vez el color correcto, lo encontre en la paleta de los amarillos pero mas inclinado hacia los grises, asi que tuve mi color perfecto para hacer el reflejo de la luz en el exterior de mi lampara
