¡Buenas tardes, amigos de holozing! Como siempre, contenta de pasarme nuevamente por acá a compartirles una bonita idea de imán para el refrigerador, inspirada en Zingu. Pensando un poco en qué podía elaborar esta semana, primero pensé que un imán sería una bonita idea; luego pensé que quizá Zingu era un candidato perfecto, jaja, pero cuando pensé en la caña de pescar y el pez, me pareció la mejor elección para este imán. Pienso que quedó muy bonito y que es algo diferente, además de que es perfecto para la cocina.

Good afternoon, holozing friends! As always, I'm happy to stop by again to share a lovely idea for a refrigerator magnet, inspired by Zingu. Thinking a bit about what I could make this week, I first thought a magnet would be a nice idea; then I thought maybe Zingu was a perfect candidate, haha, but when I thought about the fishing rod and the fish, it seemed like the best choice for this magnet. I think it turned out really pretty and is something different, plus it's perfect for the kitchen.

PROCEDIMIENTO | PROCESS
- ✨ PASO 1:
Lo primero que hice fue tomar la hoja blanca y dibujar más o menos el diseño que quería para Zingu y los accesorios extras que quería para este diseño o idea que tenía en mente. Al tener el diseño o patrón listo, transferí cada una de las piezas a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Cabeza de 4 cm en foami negro.
✨Cuerpo de 4 cm x 3.5 cm en foami negro.
✨Parte central de la cabeza de 3.5 cm x 3 cm en foami blanco.
✨Parte central del cuerpo de 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Aletas de 2 cm en foami negro.
✨Pico de 1 cm en foami escarchado dorado.
✨Cristal de 1 cm en foami escarchado azul.
✨Patas de 1 cm en foami escarchado dorado.
✨Sombrero de 2 cm x 1.5 cm en foami marrón.
✨Caña de pescar de 6 cm en foami marrón.
✨Pescado de 2 cm en foami azul.
- ✨ STEP 1:
The first thing I did was take the white paper and roughly draw the design I wanted for Zingu and the extra accessories I wanted for this design or idea I had in mind. Once I had the design or pattern ready, I transferred each of the pieces to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:
✨4 cm head in black foam.
✨4 cm x 3.5 cm body in black foam.
✨3.5 cm x 3 cm center of head in white foam.
✨2.5 cm x 2.5 cm center of body in white foam.
✨2 cm fins in black foam.
✨1 cm beak in gold frosted foam.
✨1 cm crystal in blue frosted foam.
✨1 cm legs in gold frosted foam.
✨2 cm x 1.5 cm hat in brown foam.
✨6 cm fishing rod in brown foam.
✨2 cm fish in blue foam.
- ✨ PASO 2:
Una vez recortadas las piezas, es momento de dar color al borde con pinturas o marcadores que hagan contraste con las piezas de foami liso. En mi caso, le di un tono blanco al cuerpo y a la cabeza, mientras que a las piezas en tonos blancos les di un tono amarillo por los bordes. Repetí el mismo proceso con el resto de las piezas, pero solo utilizando colores más oscuros. Al estar seco, es momento de dar detalles más específicos con mascadores, como sería el rostro, el sombrero, el pez y la caña de pescar.
- ✨ STEP 2:
Once the pieces are cut out, it's time to color the edges with paints or markers that contrast with the plain foam pieces. In my case, I colored the body and head in white, while the white pieces were colored yellow around the edges. I repeated the same process with the rest of the pieces, but only using darker colors. Once the pieces are dry, it's time to add more specific details with chewing gum, such as the face, hat, fish, and fishing rod.
- ✨ PASO 3:
Ahora sí, es momento de pegar las piezas, así que lo primero fue comenzar pegando a Zingu desde la cabeza, luego cuerpo, aletas y patas. Seguidamente, pegar la caña a la aleta, un trozo de hilo que enrollé a la caña y en la punta pegué al pez. Y, finalmente, pegar el imán en la parte trasera del cuerpo y en las mejillas, un poco de rubor.
- ✨ STEP 3:
Now, it's time to glue the pieces together. The first thing I did was start by gluing Zingu's head, then the body, fins, and legs. Next, I glued the rod to the fin, wrapped a piece of thread around the rod, and glued the fish to the tip. Finally, I glued the magnet to the back of the body, and a little blush to the cheeks.
