Life has been quite the rollercoaster lately, so the idea of taking a break and stepping away from the usual routine just sounds like something I truly need, although in all honesty, I don't know exactly when and where my next holiday will be, because the vacation I got from work ends today, meaning work resumes back on Monday, but one thing I know is that I'm eagerly looking forward to a holiday outing. While there's no date or location on the ground at the moment, I'm still excited because plans have been in motion since the last time I had a day out with my friends to find another time to do it again and relish the moment while making new memories together.

I remember the last time we went out, each one of us had a wonderful time and agreed to do it again. We even highlighted some mind-blowing places we can visit. These friends I'm talking about aren't people I knew before Hive, but those I made here in this amazing space, the Hive blockchain. With these guys, I've found genuine people, unexpected connections, and real friendship despite my habits of being overall picky when it comes to making friends.

I'm talking about no other person but @nkemakonam89, @moremoney28, and @princessbusayo, with whom we had a blast at our last outing at Omu Resort. I can't forget in a hurry how princessbusayo was chased by a lioness and she ran helter-skelter to safety. It's funny how she ran, because the lion she's running from is in a cage and has no chance of coming out. I also can't forget the fun I had from clipping up and sliding down the waterslide into the pool; it was just enjoyable, and during our time outside, I remember we sat down and promised to find time to go out again so we could unwind, explore new places together, and have fun, and me tagging them in this post is me indirectly saying I haven't forgotten and I'm seriously looking forward to our next adventure, even though I know I can't embark on any until the end of July due to the nature of my work.

Like I said earlier, there are no locations in mind. I remember suggesting the Lekki Conservative Center during the last outing, and Princessbusayo suggested some resort center and nature park with a boat cruise in Ibadan, so be it the beach, a nature park, or a historic site. I'm open to any because I know it's going to be nothing short of fun. The most important thing is when it's spent with people you love and cherish—that's the company of those you're with during such a holiday, and that's because these people are those I've come to admire and enjoy being around. The next outing could be with my hive friends, babe, or family, and I can't wait to go out to spend time laughing, talking, seeing new places, and making memories.

Talking about the date, there's no fixed date for now, given the fact that work will be resuming on Monday and I work every workday in a week, so either it's going to be one of the weekends between those workdays or after the school section is over by the end of July. Regardless of which it is, I know for a fact that I'll be making it count. Joy is a necessity, and it doesn't have to be elaborate for me to enjoy it; all that matters is the laughter and bond we've built through the years with others. Talking about how long the holiday will take, I don't think it'll exceed a day, given the fact that we've got a lot on our plate individually.

In a nutshell, even though I may not have money to book a flight and visit some mind-blowing places around the world that I've always been fascinated about exploring, I'll make it count wherever it is in our locality here, and I hope it'll be exciting and worth the wait.
